Come on our to La Mesa California with 200,000 of your best friends for the La Mesa Village Oktoberfest this October. This is the largest three day Oktoberfest this side of the Mississippi. The La Mesa Oktoberfest covers seven city blocks with 400 craft booths and five food courts. And, what would an Oktoberfest be without two beer gardens, a dance floor and even a children's carnival. |

![]() La Mesa Oktoberfest is sponsored by the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce and the La Mesa Merchants Association the first full weekend in October. The streets are closed to vehicles to accommodate 400 craft, food and arts booths. La Mesa's downtown parking lot becomes a German-style Lowenbrau Beer Garden. Beer sales stop at 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Admission to the public is free. This is one of the biggest Oktoberfest around. Do yourself a favor and ride the San Diego Trolley's East Line to the event. |
