Although connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land, Coronado is considered by many to be an island. Perhaps an island offering a different culture and tempo from the city across the bay, San Diego.

At one end of the "Island" you will find the Grand Lady of hotels, the HOTEL DEL CORONADO. Situated right along the sparkling Pacific Ocean, "The Del" has much to offer the most discriminating visitor. Unique shops, fine dining, tennis and swimming all add to the experience. The Del provides just the right balance of California Casual and Old World Formal life styles. Oh, and don't forget to be on the lookout for the Ghosts of the Haunted Hotel Del.
At the other end of Coronado, and just across the bay from San Diego is The Landing Marketplace. Coronado's Specialty Bay front Shopping & dining Center. Unique Shops & Galleries, Bike Rentals, Restaurants & Fun Eateries. Drive over the San Diego/Coronado Bridge, or Ferry on over!
